Summer 2022 at the Southern Black Sea coast promises to be full of exciting events for all tastes and ages, and if you are staying in Primorsko, you have the opportunity to visit a large number of them. You will be able to enjoy a rich program until September, so here are some of the events that are an absolute must this summer: 

Lionheart 2022

Lion’s Heart is one of the most awaited sports events of the summer, which tests the physical preparation and endurance of the participants in the beautiful nature around Primorsko. It is held in three categories:

• Swimming
• Cycling
• Running

The starting point is “Perla” beach near Primorsko, as the route in all three categories passes through many remarkable areas around the town, which are worth seeing. You can also follow the results of the participants online and experience the emotions along with them.

“Sanctuary Opera: Masquerade Ball”

If you are a fan of cultural events, visit this year’s edition of the “Sanctuary Opera”. The opera “Ball with Masks” will be held on August 13 at 8:30 p.m., on the stage of the Thracian Sanctuary of Begliktash. The place is a historical heritage, one of the oldest Thracian sanctuaries in the area, and every year gathers many culture admirers in one place, so if you like this type of events, make sure not to miss it.

Festival of Arts “Apollonia”

This year, again, one of the largest art festivals “Apollonia” will be held in Sozopol. It will be held from August 28 to September 5, and the organizers have prepared a rich cultural program in many different directions – music, literature, cinema. Musical events

We also offer you two very large-scale music festivals that will appeal to everyone who loves loud and big parties. Both will be held in Burgas, which is very close to Primorsko, so if you’re looking for different locations and activities to make your vacation more fun, check out these two events:

Spice Music Festival

From August 5 to 7, the Spice Music Festival will be held for the fourth time at the port in Burgas, and this time the event offers an additional stage. You can choose several types of tickets, and if you buy them before 31.07 you can take advantage of a lower price.

Solar Summer 2022

Solar Summer 2022, which is one of the largest electronic music festivals in the country, will be held again at the port in Burgas. The event is scheduled for August 12 and 13 and will feature global figures in house and techno music. Due to the great interest in the event, the organizers will also hold a daytime edition of the festival – on August 13 and 14 on the island of St. Anastasia.
